Looks like good build. I was sad to see them chop up the dash to get it out. g3chevy/REVENKEVIN - any spottings of the car in Houston?

That is a crazy El Camino! Makes the one that was done on Overhaulin look like child's play lol. Not familiar with these guys but I see that they are located in a rough part of town. So they definitely run in different circles than we normally do.

Their show on the Motortrend channel is called Texas Metal. They usually do trucks so I was surprised to see them do an El Camino. In the show, they show how they make the custom dash and console. Lots of work and it turned out pretty cool. They kept the swivel seats but cut them up a little to customize them.

Hey. That place is in the hood for sure. I have never been there. I would like to see that build. I watch the show all the time. That was probably a $100,000 build. They do great work. I just realized that I am forming the most simple sentences. I sound like a 3rd grader right now.

Not a subscriber to Motor Trend but would love to watch that build. Those guys definitely cater to the lowrider world so being in the hood is probably a good thing for them.

I was thinking the same thing by the third sentence, lol.

I'm not the biggest fan of the channel or app but they have some decent shows. The subscription is included with my insurance with Hagerty otherwise I wouldn't pay to have it.

Really, gonna build a custom dash with a computerized display but not gonna either chrome or tuck that bumper? I guess it's a cool car but definitely not for me. No old school vibe at all. Those donk wheels were the definitely the right choice for this one.

Funny that you mentioned that; I watch these shows and they go all in on a look and miss something so obvious as tucking the bumper. I know a guy that has a Choo-Choo custom El Camino that I would much rather have.
