Funky Engine Bay....
Didn't have time to paint the engine bay while the motor was out-had to get the old one out and the new one in quickly. Painted the mounts and crossmember area, but the rest just got degreased and hit with the powerwasher:

Not too bad, and a lot of what looks bad in the pic is just dust. but the degreaser and the power washer knocked off all of the old goo and some of the flaky paint. Just wanna touch up some bad spots and hit the suspension stuff, steering column etc.
POR 15? My buddy said he used it once and it is self leveling, so no brush stokes.
I know better than to mask and spray, cause everything on my block will have little spots of semi-gloss black all over it.

Re: Funky Engine Bay....
POR-15 is awesome Roadcaptain it is self leveling. I brushed my whole frame, rear housing, upper and lower control arms, sway bars, everything! Make sure and do 2 coats like the directions say, and get some rubber gloves cause that stuff does not come off your skin after it dries!!!! (well 2-3 weeks anyway) Another trick is if you want parts other than black do your first coat, let it get tacky and rattle can it with the color you want. Make sure to get a good spray paint though. This gives you the protection of the POR and the color you want at the same time.

Looks like gloss to me, but I could still be wrong.
