I went to the GM nationals this weekend with my 73 Monte and won best in class
(there were only 3 cars in the class) LOL. Heres a Picture

That 73 was nice I talked to the guy too. He said he had it on Ebay I think he wanted 18 grand for it . 454 too. Really nice.

i thought it looked familiar,but i look in so many places,cant remember them all.

Anthony, a big congrats to you for winning best of show!! And against such intimidating competition too... Laughing No, really that's a great feat and I'd love to see both of your Montes.

That dark red metallic (code 74) Monte is sweet!! I think I might have seen that on ebay as well a few years ago, but it looks freshly painted now. And gorgeous. I'd like to get my 74 painted and looking that nice too, one of these years.

Mike,thanks but it was best in class, LOL !! Best of show would be a huge feat in that place!
Very Happy

The red one is a 73 .The guy just had it on there about 2-3 months ago,really nice car too. 454 too and buckets, pretty much all the options other than a sunroof.

Anthony, I don't understand....there were other cars at the show besides Montes?!?! Not that they even count... lol! Obviously the best in the Monte Carlo class means best of show! Beer Very Happy

The red metallic one seems like one I saw about 2-3 years ago which sold for about $9-10K back then with the original paint, and it had low miles too. I don't know if this is the same car or not.

Yup 40th anniversary .There were plenty of Monte's there. And lots of Camaro's but not a lot of Olds ,Buicks and Caddy's which I like to see . Good representation of Pontiacs though.
