Re: 74 Laguna soon to be Resto-Mod
What internals are you going with? With only 7-10 pounds you should still be able to run decently high compression if you've gone with forged parts.
I'm going with flat tops and bumping up compression with milled 243 heads. I'd like to get around 12.5:1 right now going NA and then add my 317 heads back on later and run a small turbo at 6-8 pounds.

Going all forged internals. Ported and polishing the heads, not sure what the shop is going to do as far as milling yet.

Fuel injection thoughts are gone for now. Thanks for the tips.

Going LS with a carb is still better than an old SBC any day in my opinion. A cam and header swap in an ls1 and you're making 385-400hp. They are awesome engines.

Cool. What kind of headers are you running? I was thinking about selling my 540 Dart motor and building another LS motor, this time with twin Turbos, for the red Chevelle.
