Interior
That is the sickest interior I have seen. Where did you get it done at? I've got a '74 Malibu Classic that I'm trying to restore, but am not having very much luck getting the inside done. I gutted it out last summer and want to put swivel seats in. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 1973 SS BUILD UP owner Tony Lloyd
dan, i did almost all of it in my garage. i had a local guy stitch up the back seat and door panels and the dash. i installed everything myself. i had to shorten the rear seat by 3 or 4 inches to clear the roll bar. cut and weld the frame and trim the foam. lots o time in sound deadening gitting the carpet to lay right (heat gun and lots o patience) the stereo equipment is a whole different animal!!! 3 weeks of suk! built the speaker pods up front out of wood and fiberglass covered in matching carpet. the dash was another ordeal also. just start fitting and cutting till you git it. you do have to remove alot of material from all the pieces to get the gauges to fit right. take your time. hope that helps let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Tony, I was wondering what gauges those were that you put in, those are sweet. I'm working on a 73 chevelle ss, and I'm looking for interior inspiration.

Yes Ross it has been awhile for him to Post, but hot rod magazine has an article with them and shows the Gauges he used I believe they were all Autometer phantom gauges, Here is a few links to it
