Very nice Anthony. Glad it finally made it home. Lets make sure this garage is reinforced! BTW....4500 in motor work? What the heck was done to it? He coulda had a new motor for that cost.

Parts and labor to do the machine work.

He took it .030 over, so
.030 over pistons
polished crank
rebuilt trans with B&M shift kit
radiator
hoses
exhaust manifold studs
heater hoses
milled heads
rebuilt carb QJ
bought new chrome kit (valve covers and such)
headers <<---- now MIA and back to stock
valve job
etc etc

I would really like to know what all was done to motor but when He sent last Text he washed his hands from this car and will no longer answer any texts or calls ?

Why I am not sure I guess it have to have so awful hard to let this car go, But I am glad he chose me at the time and place in my Life I could swing this purchase !!!

I know your Still reading this sir and I thank you from the bottom of my heart !! And as promised I will keep your name out of all details !

51 Thats some pretty low #s . I am all about modifying a car but i just couldnt bring myself to do it on a low production car like that . It would be like doing some tribal pinstripping on the mona lisa .
No offense to anyone out there but thats why i am doing a clone laguna budget touring car .
I wouldnt cut up a laguna either .

Last time I was on the SE was 5 days away. Thought I would check in and see what's happening. This thing looks amazing. I noticed a comment above about the louvers and was wondering... on the first page of this topic there is a picture of the driver side rear seat and the window looks as if it has the louver on it. Or is it just dirt? Also, I could be wrong but I am pretty confident the SE louvers are completey diffrent than the Laguna style. If I can find a pic I will post it. Also... what's the chance you making a mold of that spoiler and copies of the decals. VERY nice find, man!

I was bored and looked around at the 77 SE info according to what i saw only 50 were built available in 3 colors . How did you find that car ? If only 50 were built there is probably only a few left . I am jealous Thumbs up

the Previous Owner actually found me LOL I gave up ever owning one when the Guy in Wichita, Kansas Decided to keep his pair had transport lined up to grab both of them .......... Came down to the day of and even dude was an hour into his trip he called and said he could not sell them his son was gonna restore.....

So Fast forward to my Green car out of the Blue I get a get a phone Call from the SE's previous owner, Doesn't mention till about 45 minutes into the Call that he wants me to to have first shot at the Car I guess he has known for awhile How I love these cars.

He then Said if you pass I will list it I TOLD HIM I WILL NOT PASS just give me enough time to sell my green car, hense I swapped my Green one for a Tahoe so my Loving Fiance says well since you gave up your car for the Tahoe I will buy you the SE, and the rest is now history !

Not to get off subject but it seems the 73-77 chevelle monte and other A body owners are more dedicated than the earlier year cars also a much more do it yourself crowd with hands on knowledege .
Its a refreshing change of pace from the store bought big dollar car forums .
