I had a set of 8.5 ansens. Sold them with lugs caps and a set of NOS caps. 150 should if held on to them a little longer.

Re: My 75 Chevelle "ETHEL"
I dug these out of the garage tonight. Says "ET" on the back. Two 15x7.50 and two 15x8.50. need some cleaning. Anyone know how wide a tire I can get on an 8-1/2" rim?

Found one of my old 350's while cleaning out my dads basement. Amongst piles of my old car parts. Future motor for Ethel????

Re: My 75 Chevelle "ETHEL"
I had 295-50s on 8.5 rallys and the bulge in the sidewalls kept popping the trim rings off the wheels. I got tired of chasing them so I got 10" rallys and put the 8.5s on the front.

BicknellWelding wrote:Two things I'm looking for:
(1) A pair of 15x10 ansen sprint mags for the rear of Ethel.
(2) I'm trying to find a Pink Floyd 8 track. Just to have hanging out of the radio. Preferably before "Dark side of the moon". Meddle, Obscured by clouds, Atom Heart Mother......But I'll take what i can get. It doesn't even need to play. I usually don't run a stereo in my cars, I'd rather listen to the pipes. I've checked ebay but people think Floyd means $$$.
I thought I got a hit @ http://www.8-track-shack.com/. Lots of Pink Floyd stuff - all cassette.
Site's worth a look. Lots of 8-tracks from the era.
I have a "Wall" 8-track in a box somewhere at my mom's place. Not what you said you are looking for, but I'll search for it if you want.

Re: My 75 Chevelle "ETHEL"
WARNING; the felt piece that the 8 track tape slides on while being played, turns to a gooey sticky mess when it ages and will gum up your player. Always check that pad before playing a tape. JB

good to know. Not even sure if it works. I haven't seen an 8 track in years. Every time I turn on the radio I get faint spanish music. Just wanted something from the era hanging out of the radio

I was really hoping the ET's were 10" when I pulled them out. I had a lead nearby on a set of 15 x 10 ansens for $50 last year. Shoulda grabbed them. I want to get a wider tire under it and stay with a nostalgic rim

Re: My 75 Chevelle "ETHEL"
Got to love people that want to sell things on Cl, but can't take the time to clean and take quality pics. Although $100 for polishing all four is a hell of a deal. I guarantee he gets one half polished and quits. Still a good find. No size listed?

Re: My 75 Chevelle "ETHEL"
With the recent addition to our family, I rarely have time for Ethel. Although on a recent trip to My brothers house, where I keep her, I threw My Dads 17" torq thrusts on just for the hell of it. Bad cell phone pic. I thought they looked pretty good on there. When the weather gets better I'll get her outside and take another
