I need to remove the front impact rubber strip and polished metal strip. Any advice on the best approach on removing these items to prepare for painting. I see a number of bolts, and I assume that they all have to come out. Any help would be appreciated.

Number of bolts is right, Danny! I pulled one a couple years ago and remember fighting with some rusty bolts. But then again, that's expected on MN cars! Thought I still had the rub strip, but could only find the metal backing plate. Go get 'em!
