Alternator belt ATTN Chris
Hey Chris,or anyone of you guys if you want, You dont run your smog pump on your Monte right? What belt do you use ? Do you have a part number? There must be a bad bearing in that thing and the noise is getting to me. On the big block that runs the Alt and the pump but if you take off the pulley on the smog pump the belt clears it.

Ant, worst case, take some rope like 1/4 or 5/16 diameter and plumb it in the pulley grooves. Mark the end. Then lay it out and measure the length. Hit the parts store for a belt of that length. Pretty easy actually.
