Re: Gas Pedal differences
Thanks,Thatfnthing, Hey, I used to fly into Amherst and prune the big Ficus trees in the mall there. been about ten years, but I thought it was a cool town. They still have the big city park with the drive thru pathway? I thought that was a great park but can't remember the name.

Re: Gas Pedal differences
Amherst itself doesn't have any parks big enough to have a drive path, but the city of Buffalo has one (Delaware Park), as does Tonawanda (Ellicott Creek), Orchard Park (Chestnut Ridge), and Akron, all of which are very pretty. Which mall did you go to?Pontichev327 wrote:Thanks,Thatfnthing, Hey, I used to fly into Amherst and prune the big Ficus trees in the mall there. been about ten years, but I thought it was a cool town. Re: Gas Pedal differences
I used to trim the trees in two malls there, one in Buffalo, and one in Amherst. It's been way too long to remember any names though. I'll bet it was the park in Buffalo.

Re: Gas Pedal differences
That would be Main Place Mall and Boulevard Mall, respectively. They would fly you in just to trim the trees? They couldn't find anyone local? Are Ficus trees that tricky?

Re: Gas Pedal differences
I am an indoor tree specialist... I used to (used too, thanks economy!) Fly to Redondo Beach and Victorville, Cali. Then to Charlston WV, then to Buffalo/Amherst, then down to Tucson for a week. I would start when the mall closed and prune all nite untill morning. Yeah, the BIG 20 - 30 foot Ficus are pretty hard to keep shaped correctly. like anything, you can do it half-A$$ or you can do it right.
