My buddy painted my 74 Malibu this week its been at his shop for an extended period of time but he came through and it looks awesome, I haven't seen it in person yet so these photos are it!!

My buddy just used a combo of white paints he's been saving when he has extra he dumps it in a can, so its a smorgasborg of whites, and the stripes actually look black in the photos but its a dark blue goulash as well.

Looks very nice. I was thinking of painting mine white with some stripes. It's "Hey police, look at me" red right now. I'm just going to rattle can it though as that's what I can afford. I will do a lot of prep first though and wet sand and buff it out to make it look decent enough. I love how that came out, and now I know what my 75 will look like if I do it.

Love stripes on cars like yours and think the colors go well together , congrats . There's nothing like seeing your ride for the first time in fresh paint . Now comes the fun part of scratching and chipping it putting all the stuff back on . Just take your time and be extra care full .

No progress photos to show yet, I still haven't even seen my car in person yet, My buddy is hunting elk right now I'm gonna get the car at the end of October, its about 2 and half hours from me.
He's also putting a tape stripe down the side, he said theres still too much white on the car, I told him to do whatever he wants to it, he does good work but hes had the car since last December
