So I'm trying to look up some information on my dad's '77 Malibu Classic, and I ran into a problem with the VIN coding. I've been looking at this page:

According to this page, the code for the manufacturing facility where it was assembled is as follows:

B ============== Baltimore, MD
D ============== Doraville, GA
R ============== Arlington, TX
Z ============== Fremont, CA
1 ============== Oshawa, Canada

Well, when I called my mom to get the VIN of my dad's car, she said the 7th digit was a K...which obviously isn't listed.

Believe the "K" assembly plant was Leeds, MO.
