1973 Laguna water pump...
Hello all...am changing my water pump. I cant get the power steering bracket bolt out, what am I doing wrong? does the steering bracket need to come off of the bottom of the pump...feeling stupid...Thanks...Dave

If its the same as a '74, the bracket straddles the water pump & has a captured nut on the side closest to the engine. The bolt could be seized on the pump or the captured nut I suppose. What's wrong? It won't loosen, or won't walk out?

Hi...I cant get it to walk out, just spins...it is mostly out, i will try to cut it where the bracket meets the pump housing, there are two washers there...
