38,000 mile 76 monte project
I went and looked at a 76 monte today.it has been sitting in a garage since 1981.the guy started to take it apart to be a race car.but he got married and left it at his moms, never to be played with for 28 years.it might of been a very nice car back than, but the ohio weather took its toll on it.the underneath is very scally, the gas/brake lines would have to be replaced, the g-tank flushed, not to mention that all the heat stuff needs to be put back on and a paint job.the interior is mint (no bench seat or carpet) and he has 69 grand prix buckets and back seat that go with the car.the car has air, tilt, map light, sport mirrors.there is no motor or trans and he threw the fenders away 20 years ago.
the up side is- he has NOS in the box front fenders and a rebuilt 400 trans that goes with the car.
1500.00 obo

How scaly could it be with only 5 winters on it? I bought my 73 via ebay from Ohio and it had holes in the floor, and the scale on the brake line hid all the pinholes in it.

that car is barely a $600 dollar car (NOS fenders is only thing making it that much) as the rest i bought Limey out of wisconsin rolling shell just like that Monte for 400 cash money so he can/should keep it another 28 years
