Do your guys’ doors shut like a vault. Mine are incredibly hard to shut. Who makes new hinges for these things I think mine are shot and aren’t helping at all. The doors lock area rams into the lock stud that sticks out behind the door. Thanks

Sounds like your hinges need a rebuild kit. You can feel for excess play by opening the door enough to lift up and down at the rear. Not at all uncommon considering how long and heavy these doors are.

BTW...that striker post should have a nylon bushing on it. Those are often badly worn or missing altogether.

The door hinge pins & bushings are available at many places, and sometimes locally at Advance Auto etc The pins & bushings can be replaced with the door supported, to take the load off the hinges. Like Mcarlo 77 mentioned, these G3 doors are heavy. I weighed one of mine during my Elco project, and it weighed 115 lbs without the glass.
