Re: Still in search of...
What makes this one so special? Just curious, as I know there are affordable 73s out there.

gotcha. you don't know the VIN, correct? I know in PA if you know the VIN, you can fill out a form that will tell you if that VIN is currently registered (won't tell you by who) but if you had the VIN and if Georgia had that search you could see if it's still registered in GA

Nope, no VIN. Really thinking the person I sold to, might have passed away.

That is absolutely correct !!! And it can be done with a license plate number from a pic as well. Not all states, but alot of them. Thats why I warn people to block their plate number in pics online. There are "internet shoppers" for vehicles. I've run into it several times. Just fyi.

Just a thought on finding the vin number. Do you still have the same insurance agent as you did when you owned the car? Their system might retain the vehicle info. It’s worth a shot.

Re: Still in search of...
All of the above tried. No records maintained fro 12/15 yrs ago, with the state, or insurance company.
About to give up. Think I’m just gonna find a nice Malibu, and make my own. Fate just not working with me.
Thanks for the thoughts though.

Watch out for Murphy's Law -- the original will turn up right after you buy the replacement.

Maybe if some people put it on FB or IG someone would recognize it or maybe try to contact a car club or hot rod shop in that town or nearby. How far from there are you ? Fly down there rent a car and cruise around that town. Someone has to know about it.

Re: Still in search of...
Appreciate the help guys. I’ve tried all these scenarios, with no luck. Gonna give it a few more weeks, then Perdue another. Maybe not meant to be. Hoping he has not passed away.
