Here's a few pics of G3's at this year's Hot Rod Power Tour. Lets see if we can get even more there for next years.

Cool! Got you on the list. Now we need Revin Kevin to commit and a handful more and we could start an official G3 pack and terrorize next years tour.

I'd love to do that. It's just that it involves too much time right now. I will get to it.

The more the merrier! It's good for those who are in the midwest since most of these seem to be in that general vicinity. Not sure how they choose each years routes but you can do any part of the tour that you want and not necessarily the whole tour if you don't have enough time. It just would be great to get a bunch of G3's out there next year.

I am an bummed I could not make this year because.... Current state as of a week ago.....
We definitely need you to lead the group for next year since you are a seasoned professional. You have made some great progress on your engine swap. Looks like you gotta little boost planned for it!

Hold on a minute Impalamonte! Don’t just sneak a picture like that in there! What are you building? Is that 600 hp supercharged fire breathing monster going into your car? That’s going to be AWESOME!

Hello RevinKevin,
HAHA
I did elude to the build in my post in the "G3 Project Pictures" section. But....its been a minute. I actually posted March 11 of
this year my roadblocks to gettin it in. At that time I had the motor in the frame. After ,fighting with it .
And true to fashion , it has been somewhat a continuing fight. Especially with the SuperCharger set-up. Some mild
fabrication to say the least to make that functional.
I do have some updates....but so busy trying to make things happen with it....posting went to the bottom of the list.

2022 Power tour
Where is the 2022 power tour to start?
This is a great idea to get as many G3 participants as possible and show off our projects.

I don't think they will announce the route for 2022 until early next year. But I think it will start where this year's tour ended?
Yes, the more G3's the better!

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour 2021 - G3's Represented
Hey Impalamonte, I just went back and looked at your build thread. I remember now. I also see that I was the last one to post on that. Hotrodding can be pure hell sometimes. My truck and my Laguna both took about 7 years each to get going. I hate having to work so much that it interferes with building cars. I have been wanting to do a Power Tour for so long. We need to make this happen next year. The group of people that we have here have the best 73-77 GM cars out there. We need to bring them to the forefront. I think my Laguna can get 9mpg on the freeway and G3chevy has his gas card pumped up, so I think we are in.

A gas card with a meager line of credit, 2 cars that barely get 9 mpg, and 1200 miles to drive to get to the start of the Tour? What could possibly go wrong! I'm in!!!
