Chick Magnet?

Re: Chick Magnet?
Malicruiser...... My cousin is 6'8", 360 lbs & he felt comfortable in the Eclipse. I also had a good buddy that was just as tall, but all legs. The seat went just far enough back for him. Not much space difference between the two in reality. My brother had a Dodge Stealth (3000GT clone) & the interiors are almost completely identical to first generation Eclipses. Down to the seats, guages, & door panels. They just have a longer wheelbase kind of like comparing a Monte to a Chevelle. Second Gen Eclipses actually have a little more room side to side. Can't argue with the dangers of a convertible though. In retrospect, I was 20 years old & didn't really have much to live for at the time so I didn't care. Now I'm glad I lived through the crazy stuff I pulled off in that car & managed to sell it before anyone got hurt.
HDHugger, you're a chick, was my car a chick magnet? I got a couple more stories to tell.

I like to think a 77 Malibu Wagon would be a pretty nice chick magnet. Then you can fit all the ladies you want in that thing.

Yep in the short amount of time this thread has been up, it's already #2 on the most replied list, nearly catching up to Limey's project thread. Sad thing is, even if his thread gets booted from the top, Limey is our official post whore claiming 30% of all posts on this forum, lol.

Re: Chick Magnet?
Good point, guess I should tell you why Eclispses are no longer an option for me then. The Fast And The Furious! I can never look at one anymore without thinking of that movie. Even still I could alway make an acception for the Eclipse GSX, or Eagle Talon TSI though. I even tried to get a 1997 Talon TSI for $2700, unfortionately that sold while I was on the way to look at it. Then I bought my Ranger.Rago wrote:Malicruiser...... The brown 76? Uhhh... Well, I would have stopped to check out the car no matter where I saw it, but that's cuz there's so few around. As it sits right now? It might take a chick who knows what she's looking at and appreciates the era. Honest opinion... Sorry dude, but you need to change the color and jack it up a bit in the back. I believe the reason they never got much attention is because that era really were sleepers. Need to give it something to make a chick stop in her tracks and go "

I think I need to see some side shots of the car to judge. Remember, most females only care about how it looks.
