Driveshaft Empty Driveshaft

Saw this ad http://wichita.craigslist.org/pts/2052656115.html

and wondered if cutting it to fit our cars would be of any benefit.

if its like the newer chevy trucks driveshaft then, yea its pretty lightweight but its like 4" in diameter
