Unless it's near showroom condition, then do whatever you want to it within reason. As we all know these cars can be lacking in performance and also can be improved on looks around bumpers.

I did not do anything with my Monte for 13 years because I did not know what I wanted to do. Than one day I said , I will do it how I want and not worry.
