On my 73 the window dosent roll up straight. The rollers are all there and once the window is up it seals up but when its say halfway down its crooked towards the front. Seems the regulator has some play in it,is there a way to adjust or fix it or do I need a new regulator?

I had that happen on my 99 monte and on my dodge. Take a peek inside the panel, chances are it may have gotten loose from one of the attachment points (don't know what they're called). When it gets to a certain point they catch up to the glass usually about 3/4 of the way up.

Remove the door panel, and get a good look and inspection of the window regulator and the adjustable stops for the window. You may detect the problem that way, if it's just got a simple adjustment problem. It takes some time to get the regulator and stops tweaked just right.

If you can locate a Fisher body service manual there are step by step instructions on how to adjust window glass. But if it just went crooked then i would look for something loose or broken as motioned above.

Take it easy fellas! Thanks! Not selling, at least not now,if I croak I will leave instructions with the misses to contact one of you. The regulator arm on the front of the window seems to not be holding the window properly I dont think there is anyway to fix that aside from replacing the regulator.

Ant,
I have the 1973 Fisher body manual and can copy and post the page(s) you need. Since they refer to body numbers instead of models in the book I'll need the first 4 numbers of your VIN. For example my Chevelle is 1A37.
