Getting ready to re-do the interior in my '73, decided to convert from bench to swivel buckets. Car currently has no seat belts, can some one please advise and/or post pics of the seat belt set-up for swivel buckets. Not sure where exactly they should bolt in.

73 swivel buckets dont have the shoulder "guide" thing on them like 74-77 buckets do. 74-77 has the roof mounted retractor. 73 over the shoulder sit in a track above the door if not used. Just FYI. Just another 73 only thing.

bench seat bolts to the top of the retractor.

buckets bolt to the floor,than the retractor sits behind the seat.

Are the bucket seat belts for the 73 the same as 70-72? If not, what other vehicles should I look to get them out of?

I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading that 1973 belts were a one year deal. Correct me if I am wrong. JB

Here is a typical '72 retractor. If I recall, this was used on both bench and bucket seat cars. Be advised that these mounted more on top of the rocker/sill plate area rather than on the floor behind the seat. I believe the shoulder straps are interchangeable from '70-'73.
