I wonder what the profit margin is for a "discounted" crate motor like that if they can knock $2,000 off the list price? Greedy buggers.

I have to say, if you've never been to summit you don't know what you're missing. Remember super shops? Summits show room is probably 8 times the size, with in store "open box" items only available if you are there personally. Thumbs up jegs is only about 3 hours from here also.

Hey say you did buy that 572, could you get some off the shelf headers to actually fit the motor and the engine bay/frame area????

The shipping from Summit is cheap by comparison with other vendors, so you don't have to drive half a day (gas $) to be there to shop.
And they have the BEST customer service.....
