anyone help with a gasket source?
Finally decided to strip and paint my 73 Malibu! It has been a couple of years of indecision due to the questionable value of original paint. I could really use some new taillight gaskets but am not sure if they are available now, as they weren't previously. They are a bit crusty from sitting for almost 40 years! Can anyone help out? Thanx, Ross

Dont know if they're available anywhere but they werent when I needed them back in the late 80's. I took some trunk weatherstrip and a tube of the weatherstrip adhesive and I made my own. It fit nice and I've never had a problem with it. Just a thought in case you can find them.

3M Strip caulk is another option you can roll it around in your hands to make as thin as you need it or you can combine pieces to thicken it up.
