Swivel Bucket Trubba
Trying to swap out a hideous white Bench for some swivels. Seats are in great shape except the back legs (seat runners) are rusted pretty bad on the passenger side seat where they actually bolt to the floor- I'm guessing that the runners are NOT reproduced, and of course the ones for the 68-72 wouldn't work, Right?
Does ant body know if the runners from the bench would swap out to the swivels? or could the repros for the 68-72 be modified somehow. I'm looking locally for a good welder who could possibly cut off the rusty back "legs" and fabricate something to replace them. Anybody else done anything like this?

I ended up making my own legs from a set of tracks I had laying around, ended up working really well. Its pretty easy to do and you can adjust it to where you want it or do it just like stock.

Re: Swivel Bucket Trubba
I actually found a swivel base here locally from a guy who had a bunch of 76 monte parts in his garage-got it for 20 bucks- the guy found out what he had and took it all to a swap meet-made a bundle and told me he shoulda charged me more than he did.
But thanks for asking anyway.
