Need help with power steering.
Can I use rubber line for the low pressure return line? I have a Marsch serpentine belt system with an external reservoir and they supplied a braided hose with like a hard plastic type inside. It has leaked since I installed it. Now that I am nearing the end of installing the 383 I wanted to adress this. I am worried about the power steering fluid affecting the rubber line.

I dont see why not. No pressure on the return line. Every pump Ive done only had rubber with a simple bose clamp holding it on.

That's what I'm running too. Standard rubber -10AN return line from the reservoir to the pump. You only need to make sure the pressure side is the using the hydraulic hose.

The return line hose is available at most all auto parts stores. Not sure if the hose is a particular compound of rubber though. I just used what they sold me ......
