'73 thru '77 el Camino rolling chassis/frame
This is a good, solid, clean frame from a 1977 el Camino. It is a roller, has the following still on it:
- frame is in very good shape, no dents, no rust other than surface, all body mounting holes in very good shape.
- 10 bolt 2.73 posi rear, no brakes or brake backers. I opened the rear and it is very clean, in nice shape. This is a 3 series carrier.
- has front A-Frames, very good shape.
- steering linkage, in very good shape.
- PS box, not sure of condition, seems to move freely.
- front sway bar.
- front bumper impact shocks.

Has 4 wheels with tires on it, so it rolls nicely for transportation.
$350 cash, local pickup only.

I would like to have the rear end, but can't make the trip. One trip a year is too much for me right now.

I don't think he was offering the rear end separately.driveit wrote:I would like to have the rear end, but can't make the trip. One trip a year is too much for me right now.

I would be glad to sell the rear, but that makes transporting the chassis a real PITA. :-(
Yes, the whole thing is well worth the $350.
I bought it with the intention of using it as a preliminary to doing a frame off for my '75. The '75 chassis is very nice, just thought that I could prepare it before hand doing all the suspension, rear, front end steering, then would make moving the body a lot easier, but plans have changed, so I decided to sell this chassis.
It is very nice, solid frame with quite a bit of good usable parts on it.
