How To Disassemble/Repair Strg Column
Found this on another site and thought it was an excellent tutorial on how to work on our gen of tilt strg columns.
Kudos to Mr. George Nenadovich for putting this together

Re: How To Disassemble/Repair Strg Column
That's a good tutorial ! Thanks for the link !!
I had to get into the column on a Chevy van I had, to fix the wobble.
Currently I need to take the column apart on my '74 Malibu. The spring the pushes the column up, when it's released with the lever, must be broke. I have to push it up manually, and it's stiff even then. It needs help for sure.....and maybe I'll pull it all the way out & change bearings etc.
