I don't like to get too far out on politics. We all have our interests and choices when it comes to leaders, and I wouldn't want to insult anyone here with my jokes about the govt.
I want you guys to be friends, even after the next elections Very Happy

Great bunch of folks here Very Happy

El Camino Central does not allow any politics, and likely for good reason, like hurt feelings etc.
But you guys can call me a democrap , and I wont care Very Happy

But I can't laugh very good today, just had throat surgery this morning Very Happy

Don't worry Pila, my grandfather is a Dem through & through so I'm used to the razzing from him. No politics discussion around here gets out of hand since we are all laid back enough to respect each others opinions. If they were to get heated, at least one person from management is usually on board to control the situation.

Hey, Limey, you guys are moving the wrong direction...ours actually dropped two cents to $3.77/gal...woo-hoo! Drove outside the metro area and the smaller towns had it for $3.66/gal. I jumped all over that! And no...I didn't make a special trip just to get gas...just on the way to a salvage yard. Great day...62 degrees and strolling among 50 acres of old cars!

Right now its around $3.29 to $3.35 a gallon in my area.

Here this website http://gasbuddy.com/, helps u find the cheapest gas in ur area by grade, can be broken down to brand, and its updated by customers. It mostly accurate, and if u got a "smart" phone they have an app too.

We do have to laugh at some statements by politicians, from either side of the spectrum, like a Senator recently said that the" Libyan war could spread to Africa' (???) where in hell does he think Libya is? hahahahahaaa! Very Happy

Should have paid more attention in the 5th or 6th grade !

I'm sure there will be laughs coming up for another year or so.

87 Octane: $3.659
89 Octane: $3.769
92 Octane: $3.869
#2 Diesel: $4.119

Yeah, but then if YOUR action doesn't happen, THEN you'll moan.

It's a viscous circle.

That's why I take no hand in politics. I don't read about it & I don't listen to it. I've said it 100 times, and I'll say it 100 more. Politics turns good people into monsters.

We all have a common interest here - our A-Bodies. I would hate for someone to spew off the wrong statement(s) to the wrong person, and have a blow out. Hard feelings and grudges, people leaving etc.

I don't agree with much that goes on on the other site, that's why I hardly go there. But one thing I did agree with, was NO politics at all. Everyone can stay neutral while on the message board, get along, and be friends.

I'm sure there are political message board site out there just for them. Take it there.

Just my $0.02.
