WHAT"IT WORTH Empty WHAT"IT WORTH

Post by chevyman 2 Sat Mar 07, 2015 2:34 pm

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF RESTORING A 1973 CHEVELLE (DELUXE) 2 DOOR COUPE WITH OPERA REAR WINDOWS.
I UNDERSTAND THIS CHEVELLE WAS PRODUCED FOR 1 YR. ONLY AND HAD THE OPTION OF 5.7 350 CDI OR 7.1 454 BIG BLOCK.
MINE IS THE 350CDI. THE AUTO WAS A GIFT FROM A GOOD FRIEND.

Depends how much you put into it....sink $30,000 in the resto and it ought to be worth $6,000-$8,000!
A 73 non SS small block car......guess it depends on how much that one person wants to pay for it.
Bring on the comments...,!

'73 chevelles came with a 6 cylinder, 307, 350 and 454 engines.

I'd agree with 6-8K if someone really wants it.

Whats a 73 worth

WHAT"IT WORTH <a href=WHAT"IT WORTH Img_3411" />

WHAT"IT WORTH <a href=WHAT"IT WORTH Img_5512" />

To me its all about the fun of driving and upgrading and driving upgrading and driving. 3 engines 4 trans two rear ends later. The list goes on and on. Some of us have spent over $50,000.00 over time. Whats it worth is only what the next guy who wants it will pay for it?

TO ME ITS PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!

O ya I drive my stuff like a stoled it also.

No garage queens at my place.

Amen

When fixing up or restoring an old car, plan on not EVER recouping the cost !! It will cost a bundle to make it the way you want it, which is OK, if you drive it for some years, and not having it as just a storage queen, for something to talk about & rarely ever drive ( like my Malibu !!) Rolling Eyes
To ease the pain a bit, don't even think about adding up the parts receipts !!
