Re: Where are you at picture
That ghetto paint job looks way better in person. And the e-brake fabrication is genius. I always come home smarter when I leave Revin Kevin's garage.

Re: Where are you at picture
Well since I've seen the vehicle in person, it would be like cheating to answer this quiz. Btw, what's a newspaper?

Re: Where are you at picture
Well, today the magnificent g3chevy stopped by and we made some more progress. Many thanks for that. Just a few more loose ends and I am ready for the initial start up. Too say that I am excited would be a gross understatement. I have to buy a battery tomorrow and I am going to test the electric windows and some other items. I was so excited that I gave the car a partial bath. First time in a year or so. The car is so big and my garage is so small that I really can’t fit it in on just one shot. One day I will have a bigger garage so here it how it looks now. Cheers.

Looking great! That quick bath made it look like a totally different car! Love helping out on this beast. It's pure motivation for me. Can't wait to see this thing move under its own power!

Re: Where are you at picture
Hey. I have an appointment at the exhaust shop on Wednesday. I just finished trimming my kit a little to get it in the ballpark for welding. I also had to get a new radiator. Mine sat empty in the Houston heat and humidity for the last 5 years or so and now has some leaks. Funny thing is that I had a gallon of coolant in my hand and but I decided to put some distilled water in first just in case. Great call. I think that this exhaust system will be whisper quiet. It should sound just like a new Lincoln Town car.

Re: Where are you at picture
Christmas comes early once again at Revin Kevins house! It will only sound like a Lincoln for the hearing impaired...like me. Still the coolest exhaust I've seen!

Well, it would help if I included the link.

Re: Where are you at picture
Yes. If you look at/measure the factory cut out you will see the exposed cores line up with that. I can’t take a picture from the front because my A/C condenser is installed. It fits awesome and looks great.

Re: Where are you at picture
Wow! I want to see more pictures of that. Did you use the TREMEC T56? What clutch do you have? So many questions.

Re: Where are you at picture
Already Sold the Original 4 Speed. It has a Richmond 6 Speed in it now. We had 2 transmission built with specific gear ratios in them. The car is an original 3.42 gear car and the setup works perfectly with the overdrive. Had to modify the shifter opening slightly to fit the 6 Speed. Don't remember that brand clutch. I will find out. We also used the 70-72 Reverse Lockout Rod and modified it to work correctly. The original one was missing from the car even though it only has 16k original miles.

Awesome. My nephew lives in North Carolina. I need to look you up next time I’m out there. When I get my car finished I need to trick g3chevy into taking a road trip that way and go to the NASCAR museum.

We live about an hour and fifteen minutes North of Charlotte in North Wilkesboro.
Forgot to mention above we tucked the front bumper in and added vintage air.

I also see some nice brakes hiding in there. That’s one of the nicest ‘73s in the world. Great job.

Re: Where are you at picture
Yes we added Wilwood Brakes all around. Thanks we put a lot of work into it. I have owned the car since 1988 and finally finished the restoration in 2014. I have the Window Sticker, the Dealership Paper work also for the car. It was ordered thru the old Chevrolet Dealership here in town. The original owner is still around as far as I know.
Here is a picture of the engine bay.

Re: Where are you at picture
I have some brake issues and i was thinking about upgrading to wilwood stuff. So i was wondering what did you change? And was it a kit? Or did you buy components individually? What booster and master ispecially are you using? Im having trouble finding parts here in Europe of good quality. Im sorry for all the questions but i appreciate if you would share your experience in what parts that work. Im looking for a more modern feel to the pedal. Thank you in advance Henrik.
