Looks great! That is a really good idea where you put the ignition box. Won't there be a problem if it get wet though? Do you have some sort of sheild or enclosure around it?

Thank you Fasrnur.
Ant7377....
I do have it hanging upside down . I do not think I have an issue with the ignition box getting wet or water killing it. These are sealed units.
The installation in the manual for the supercharger install for a 93-97 Camaro Z guides the user to install the ignition box just behind the front driver's side headlight on a
flat area. That has to be an area for water infiltration on that car. Especially while washing it....the gap between the hood and fender.

Lookin' good! The two elbows in the last photo on the SC and the intake -- were you just test fitting, or do you actually have that much hood clearance?
Interesting idea on locating the box -- wouldn't have occurred to me to put anything inside the wet area of the cowl. Don't you run into an issue routing the wires when they need to cross the cowl-to-hood seal?

Thanks Thatfnthing ,
Yes , that was a test fit to assure that I could get a 3.5" pipe from the SC over to the intake elbow. I closed the hood , got under the car and measured ( best I could)
the " hood to pipe " clearance. I am seeing a half inch. If I do touch , I may have to trim a 3"-4" section of hood bracing in that particular area only.
On the ignition box , I drilled a hole just to the right ( looking at the front of the car) of the windshield wiper motor to bring the wiring through. Then wrapped in
convoluted tube.

Hi fellow G3's ,
Providing an update....all is together is operating. Drove car for 20 minutes or so last Friday. All that my schedule would allow.
I'm sure some tuning is going to be necessary once I get a feel for things. I had to take some real estate at the driver's side fender
well in order to get the intake air into the SC. Hood clearance is there once it is closed....but its close.

That looks awesome! Is it as much fun as it looks, or have you not put your foot in it yet?

I have put my foot in it....but , I need to figure out my timing though. The ignition / boost control unit is designed to retard ignition in relation to boost.
I dont think I have it dialed in yet....more driving will help in that matter .
One thing too.... it does have a nice little whine...audibly much like a diesel's turbo.

Don't suppose you have that old worthless "little" fan shroud laying around do you? I can use it if you do. Let me know! Thanks. Andy

Recently finished out my trunk. They are fitted in by compression. No fasteners were used. Test fit...trim....repeat...took a while !!

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I do not think it changed anything reducing noise inside the car Hs1973.

Ok. I was just wondering if it made a difference. I have alot of sound deadner in the cabine and pretty satisfied with the noise level. But more is always better, im looking to make it as comfortable as a modern car. Thanks for the pictures im looking forward to get my trunk to look like that.

VERY nice ride and details. Thanks for all the pics. I'm trying to figure out how to install seat belts for swivel buckets and I like your design solution.
