I know that look! If anybody has any doubt as to how much damage road salt can do over time, here's a reminder (MN Monte).

Our good friends' daughter/son-in-law moved to Monson, MA (anywhere near you, Paul?) a couple yrs ago and have been keeping us up to date with the snowfall at their place. And, they thought they'd be getting away from our harsh MN winters...ha!

Steve, Monson is a great little town it's closer to Springfield, MA than Boston (western part of the state). It was hit a few years ago by a couple of tornado's and I was there & took a few pics of the aftermath while visiting a client out that way. Very unusual to have twisters here (I'll take 4 feet of snow any day over that $h!t- scary!).

I thought WE had it bad.....(-3 tonight)...but I saw on the news tonight that the military in Japan had to help get through huge piles of snow to get people out of their houses !

Its been much colder here already this year but it still sucks. Not much heat on a school bus.

THAT SUCKS! I dont care what anyone says about Florida or the south or whatever this whoa nelly gets old after a few weeks. Sure would be nice not to have to deal with it.

That arctic blast is heading this way today & tomorrow. BRRRRRRRRR.

Oh and they're forecasting another 2 feet over the next few days. Might stop snowing by Tuesday. It's getting REAL OLD, REAL FAST. lol

Not sure what the weather had to do with it, but today there was a 100-car pile-up on a bridge, in South Korea. Two dead. Those folks in the far East must drive just like they fly airliners...not very good...

You should see the mountains of snow I shoveled & raked off the roof yesterday. I stood on piles of compressed roof snow in order to clear the ice off the gutters & first couple rows of shingles. I've had to snow-blow the deck twice already for fear of collapse. Never mind clearing the drive, a path back to the work-shop and a trench around the house for all this snow to drain in, versus my basement. I've lived here my whole life & have never seen this much snow in such a short span of time.

F8cking winter sucks!

I just put a new starter on my snowblower tonight. Its got a pull start too but you know the damn cord will break at the worst possible time. Keep diggin Paul,you will hit turf soon.
